BSA Troop 1776 was founded in 2013 and includes Scouts from Jefferson County, Clear Creek County, and Cherry Creek school districts. The Troop continues to grow under strong adult and scout leadership, supporting the Scouts and their communities. We are chartered through the Mountain Foothills Rotary Club of Evergreen.
Youth can join a Scout troop who have earned the Arrow of Light rank and are at least 10 years old, or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or who are 11, but not yet 18 years old. Please feel free to visit us. Everyone is welcome. Learn more about our troop
Mission:
To prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Oath: On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; To help other people at all times; To keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight. Law: A scout is Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent. Slogan: Do a good turn daily Motto: Be prepared Outdoor Code: As an American I will do my best to, be clean in my outdoor manners, be careful with fires, be considerate in the outdoors, and be conservation minded. |
